On what felt like the first day of spring (though you can never be too sure in the UK), this piece just stumbled onto the paper and gradually filled itself with colour. What I mean is, it was quite a spontaneous piece and I didn’t really have a plan with it – art like this always feels refreshing, a break from the norm of expectation, ideas and theories.
