Completed Art: ‘Entwined’

Part two of three in my ‘Blessed Sandal’ series, I created the pattern of ‘Entwined’ completely from scratch with the vision of purity and growth. The leaves and vines wind outwards to depict liberation into the light, the blessed Sandal itself being central to this image in vibrant colour.

Initially I had started this with a slightly different leaf shape and the inclusion of rosettes, but admittedly I wasn’t too content with the outcome. I then tweaked the design midway and started on a fresh sheet, reworking the flow of the entire piece.
